Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) of Cash for Major Shelter Repairing

Major activities undertaken:

• Conducted post-distribution monitoring through household visits and phone interviews in Badakhshan province, focusing on assessing satisfaction and utilization of Cash for Major Shelter Repairing among affected populations, including returnees and IDPs.
• Evaluated the efficiency of cash distribution processes, including logistics and resource use, to meet the immediate shelter needs of vulnerable groups such as returnees, IDPs, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and female-headed households.
• Assessed beneficiary preferences for cash versus in-kind support, identifying challenges during distribution and recommending improvements for future interventions.
• Monitored awareness and utilization of complaint mechanisms, gathering recommendations to enhance support systems for affected communities, including migrant returnees and displaced persons.
• Identified best practices and areas of immediate attention using a flag rating system, focusing on beneficiary selection, gender issues, and delivery for returnees and IDPs in Badakhshan.
